HP DL980…now this is a server!
I have been fortunate the past few months to be working on a HP ProLiant DL980 G7 Server. This is one killer server: 8 processors, 80 cores, 160 virtual processors, and 2 TB’s of memory. Oh, and there are two of them (clustered).

Hi James! Sorry to comment in such a old post, but I´m just throwing it away a DL 980 that hasn´t been used for a year here where I work. Off course, I ripped it apart (memory, HBA, etc) and are giving away to reciclyn.
Funny how technology is, don´t you think?
